Yamaha India has pulled out all the stops and intense by presenting the Aerox 155 into the Indian scooter segment. It imparts its motor to the R15 v3, which also got a little update today. This is what the Aerox 155 is about:
What’s Its Price? Who Are Its Rivals?
The Yamaha Aerox 155 has been valued at Rs 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). This lively maxi-bike doesn’t have an immediate adversary in our market, yet the Aprilia SXR 160 is its nearest rival.
What’s New?
Despite the fact that Yamaha India is considering it a maxi-scooter, the Aerox is all the more an sporty scooter that is somewhere between a stage through and a scooter. It has a sharp face with twin LED headlamps. It doesn’t have an erupted cover or loads of tense body boards. The tail area is wide and looks very extensive.
You cannot expect the same levels of storage space on the Aerox as a traditional scooter. The step in the floor means no chance of carrying groceries, and even under seat storage is limited.
Yamaha has furnished the Aerox 155 with highlights like a 5.8-inch LCD instrument console, complete with Bluetooth availability, an inactive beginning stop framework and surprisingly a keen engine generator that guarantees silent starts.
Driving the Aerox 155 is the R15 v3-determined 155cc single-chamber fluid cooled 4-valve motor, which makes 15PS and 13.9Nm in this guise. It is 3.25PS and 0.3Nm lower than the R15 v3 but that’s still enough to make it the most powerful scooter currently in India.
