Following the Twitter logo, owned by Elon Musk, social media
giant Meta allowed users to get a blue icon for $14.99 per month in the United
States. Now, according to reports, Meta Verified will cost Rs 1,450/month on
mobile devices and the same will cost Rs 1,099/month if you sign up on a web
browser.
Like the twitter blue subscription, Meta confirmed will add
a blue symbol to Instagram and Facebook accounts. Currently, Meta Verified is
currently in beta stage and interested users should join the waiting list to
have their Facebook and Instagram accounts verified.
In addition to adding a blue sign to the profile, Meta
approved accounts will also benefit from other features and capabilities such
as active protection, direct customer support, enrichment and special
additions. Note that, at this time, Meta verification is not available for
investors and people under 18 years of age.
Who are eligible for the meta-verified program?
Every Facebook and Instagram user who is at least 18 years
old can get their account verified. Users with a public or private profile can
access their account in a small service and get their account verified.
Likewise, one must also present an official ID with a matching name and photo
as proof of identity.
How to apply for meta-verified
Go to about.meta.com/technologies/meta-verified and click on
Facebook or Instagram to sign in. Click join the waiting list and you will
receive an email once your account is ready for verification.
