R Madhavan is a proud father. The actor said that his son Vedaant won five gold medals for India in swimming in the competition in Malaysia. In a happy moment, Madhavan shared his progress with his fans on social media and posted several images of Vedaant in the competition along with a photo of the award. In his speech, he wrote: "By the grace of God and all your wishes, Vedaant gets 5 gold medals for India (50m, 100m, 200m, 400m and 1500m) and 2 PB in Malaysian Age Group Invitational Championships in 2023 this weekend in Kuala Lumpur. I am very happy and grateful.

Earlier, Vedaant achieved great success in Khelo India 2023. Son of Madhavan participated in the competition representing Team Maharashtra and won five gold medals in 100m, 200m and 150m, and two silver medals in 400m and 800m events.
