As rebel Eknath Shinde urged the Supreme Court against Shiva Sena's move to disqualify him and 15 other MLAs, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray's team also raised an ante in a legal battle.

1.      Camp Eknath Shinde also challenged the rejection of the motion of censure on Vice-President Narahari Zirwal. The insurgents demanded that Mr Zirwal not take any action on Shiv Sen's request for disqualification last week until a decision was taken to remove him.
