In a regulatory filing, NDTV Ltd said that Sudipta
Bhattacharya, Sanjay Pugalia and Senthil Sinniah Chengalvaryan have been
appointed directors on the board of RRPRH, with immediate effect. Adani Group
has acquired 99.5% stake in RRPR Holding Private Ltd, the promotional vehicle
of New Delhi Television Ltd (NDTV).
The move comes a day after NDTV said a developer-backed
company had offered shares in the Adani Group, bringing the company led by
billionaire Gautam Adani close to taking over the media industry. In early
