Priyanka Chopra is one of the biggest stars in the Hindi film industry, known as Bollywood, when she successfully transitioned to Hollywood. It's unheard of for someone at the top of their game to make a decision that could jeopardize their career.

Now Priyanka, popularly known as PeeCee, has revealed why she moved to Hollywood in the United States. Speaking on the armchair expert podcast hosted by Dax Shepard, Priyanka revealed that she is tired of politics in the Hindi film industry and also has 'beef with people'. When Shepard asked him why, she replied, “I've never said this so I'm going to say it because you'll make me feel safe.”

She then added, "I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break."

She spoke about hes first break in the United States, when Desi Hits' Anjula Acharia, hired him for a song called 'In My City', her debut single which also featured rapper will.i .am.

"This music gave me the opportunity to go to another part of the world, it's not the hunger and the movies that I don't want to have, but I will need to hit some clubs and cliques of people. It will require crawling and I'm done It was such a long job at that time that I didn't like doing it," added Priyanka.

After 'In My Country', Priyanka got a lead role in the American TV series Quantico, where she played the role of an FBI agent. The show became a huge success and was South Asia's first scripted drama series on an American network.

After Quantico, she starred in other Hollywood projects such as Baywatch, The White Tiger, and The Matrix Resurrections, among others. She has collaborated with actors such as Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and Jim Parsons.

If her success was not enough, Priyanka also found the love of her life in America, making her career and life in the United States a dream come true. She met the American singer, actor and now her husband Nick Jonas.
