Seasoned actor Sulochana Latkar passed passed away at age 94 on June 4. Sulochana Latkar, a renowned Marathi and Hindi actor, began her career in the 1940s and appeared in more than 250 films. 

Kanchan Ghanekar, Sulochana's daughter, confirmed the news to ABP News over the phone. At Dada's Shivaji Park crematorium, her final rituals will be performed today at 5 pm. 

Condolences poured in for the actor who, for many years, largely portrayed the mother roles of the main actors in Bollywood films. 

Actor Riteish Deshmukh paid her a tribute and wrote,“The news of the death of Sulochana Didi is very sad. A heartfelt tribute to this great actress who ruled the hearts of audiences in Marathi and Hindi cinema.”
