Modi's statement on full theaters is his way of acknowledging Pathan's success.
While the pre-bookings themselves showed the huge fandom of
Pathan, the film has created a history breaking story in the world of
Bollywood. During the recent parliamentary session, when our honorable Prime
Minister spoke on the subject of cinema, fans of the film and actor Shah Rukh
Khan could not help but agree that the Prime Minister and -give the film a real
boost, along with Deepika Padukone for inspiring people go back to the theatre.
A video of the Prime Minister Honorable Narendra Modi
addressing the House of Parliament Parliament session posted by many fans of
Shah Rukh Khan and his fan clubs on social media, in which he was seen said:
"Srinagar ke andhar itne saalon baad theaters housefull chal rahein hai
(Theaters are full in Srinagar after many years) Many theatergoers thought that
Mr. Modi was talking about Pathan and how Shah Rukh Khan , starrer Deepika
Padukone, brought people back to film.
Fans of the film and SRK went on to gush about the speech
saying, “The theatre have been open for a year and a half now but only pathaan
did this. None of the movie could do this,” commented on of the fans. “#pathaan
be like jalwa hai hamara,” added another. One of the users stated, “That's the
power of SRK pm ko be heran kar diya Pathaan movie,” whereas another user
agreed to it, continuing, “Ye sirf srk kar sakta hai or kisi ke baski nahi
hai”.
Some of them even said how the eviction campaign was
unsuccessful and how the film was a success despite the many controversies
surrounding it before its release. Readers will know that Pathan faced a lot of
backlash before its release, especially when the makers revealed the first song
of "Besharam Rang", including some politicians who wanted the film
banned. However, by overcoming these obstacles, YRF made a strong impression on
the artist.
Pathan is directed by Siddharth Anand and released worldwide
on January 25 in Tamil and Telugu, as well as Hindi.
