Reports have surfaced indicating that the wedding
festivities of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha have commenced with an
'ardaas' ceremony, as per Punjabi culture. Despite Parineeti's discretion
regarding the wedding date, numerous reports have been circulating for weeks
regarding her impending nuptials with Raghav Chadha. Following the revelation
of detailed wedding plans and the circulation of their wedding invitation on
social media, recent reports suggest that the celebrations have already kicked off
in Delhi. Additionally, the couple was recently spotted at Mumbai airport, en
route to the capital.
Presently, the wedding festivities have initiated with the
significant rituals of 'ardaas' and 'shabad kirtan,' both deeply rooted in
Punjabi traditions. Following these ceremonies, it is reported that the couple
has organized a series of intimate functions exclusively for close friends and
family before departing for Rajasthan to commence the main wedding events.
These events may encompass Sangeet, Mehendi, Haldi ceremonies, and the wedding
itself, culminating with an evening reception for their guests.
For those unaware, the couple is expected to exchange vows
at the picturesque The Leela Palace in Udaipur, Rajasthan. It has been
disclosed that accommodations have already been arranged at select hotels for
friends and family close to the couple. According to the viral wedding
invitations from last week, the Baaraatis, along with Raghav, are likely to
stay at Taj Palace, proceeding to The Leela Palace for the wedding ceremony.
Reports on the guest list suggest that Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her husband
Nick Jonas will be in attendance, alongside various prominent political figures
with close ties to Raghav Chadha.
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha became engaged in a
lovely ivory-themed roka ceremony held in Delhi in May 2023 and are now gearing
up for a week-long celebration in honor of their wedding.
