The seasoned actor, who is no longer on the big screen, recently went to Instagram and shared a video with the actress. She turned out to be in the US, where she is being treated for breast cancer. He even called himself a hero

In the video, Mahima Chaudhry is seen breaking up while talking about diagnosis, treatment and how she had to keep the news from her mother. Not only did she trust Anupam Kher, but she also thanked him for his support.

Anupam Kher shared the video with a lengthy note that reads, “Story of @mahimachaudhry1‘s courage and Cancer: I called #MahimaChaudhry a month back from US to play a very important role in my 525th film #TheSignature.
