For those who don't understand, Ranveer Singh's Jayeshbhai
Jordaar trailer has a scene with the character of Ranveer and the character of
his wife, Shalini Pandey, visiting a gynaecologist with his family (Boman Irani
and Ratna Pathak Shah). During the scene, Boman's characters, the doctor asks
about the child's gender and is seen in the hope that it is a boy. As the
trailer goes on, the very nervous Ranveer also witnesses the doctor ask about
the child's gender. In response to both questions, the gynaecologist was seen

The use of this particular scene in the film apparently
angered the NGO, which in turn led it to take this drastic step to bring
legitimacy to the forefront. Lawyer Pawan Prakash Pathak's petition claims that
although starter Ranveer Singh talks about the issue of women's fetishism in
India and promotes the Saving the Girl Child case, and Prenatal Diagnostic
Techniques (PCPNDT), 1994.
According to the report, the plea by the advocate reads,
“The ultrasound clinic scene where the technology of ultrasound for sex
selection is being advertised openly without censor and as per section 3, 3A,
3B, 4, 6 & 22 of the PC & PNDT Act, same is not allowed & hence the
instant PIL.”
