Victory Venkatesh’s one more film has taken the OTT route after Narappa that released on Amazon Prime Video. The makers today made an official announcement that Drushyam 2 will stream on Amazon Prime from November 25th. The confusion on the release of Drushyam 2 finally came to an end.

The story starts with police reopening the Varun case which happened six years ago (in Drushyam). We then see many montages about how Rambabu’s family is grilled by the police. Venkatesh looks dashing in the black beard. The movie will be streaming on November 25th.

Jeethu Joseph who directed Drishyam 2 has directed the Telugu remake as well. Venkatesh, Meena played the lead roles. Kruthika, Esther Anil, Sampath Raj, Nadhiya, Naresh and Poorna will be seen in other important roles.

Interestingly, Drushyam 2 is the official remake of Drishyam 2 which also skipped its theatrical release date and arrived directly on Amazon Prime Video. It is like a remake of a Direct-To-OTT release is arriving on the same platform. Earlier the makers tried to cut a deal with Disney+ Hotstar but it did not materialize due to some reason.
