Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor welcomed their first child. A Bollywood couple who got married on April 14 have welcomed a baby girl. The actor shared the happy news on social media.
"And in the best news of our lives:- Our baby is here and what a magical girl she is. We are officially bursting with love. Blessed and obsessed PARENTS!! love love love, Alia and Ranbir," Alia shared in a statement posted on her Instagram account.
Along with the post, the actor shared a photo of the lion
family. For the caption, he added a heart emoji.
On Sunday morning, the new parents were seen arriving at the
HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Girgaon, Mumbai, for their D-Day. Study time
is 12:05 p.m. Alia is fine and will be in the hospital for a few days. The
newborn was the crowning achievement of a tumultuous year for the couple. In
June, Alia shocked the world when she announced her pregnancy with a photo of
Ranbir on her Instagram account. Ranbir and Alia got married just a few months
ago.
The two recently made
a splash in which Alia's brother Shaheen Bhatt, Ranbir's mother Neetu Kapoor,
sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, cousin Karisma Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor's wife
Neila Devi arrived at their Vastu home in Pali Hill district of Mumbai. Vastu
is the same place where they both got married this year.
Acting wise, the couple had a successful year with
"Gangbai Kathiawadi" sealing Alia's well-deserved reputation as a
talented actress and "Brahmastra" reviving Ranbir's career chart. .
Alia also made the news due to her arrival in Hollywood with Gal Gadot in the
movie "Heart of Stone," which will be released in 2023. She also
launched a line of maternity clothes called Edamama.
Talking about their upcoming films, Alia, who was last seen
in Netflix's Darlings, is looking forward to her next releases namely - Rocky
Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Jee Le Zara and her first Hollywood film Heart of
Stone.
On the other hand, Ranbir will be seen in director Luv
Ranjan's upcoming untitled rom-com along with Shraddha Kapoor in director
Sandeep Reddy Vanga's gangster drama "Animal" opposite Rashmika
Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol.
