Actress Hansika Motwani has strongly refuted recent media reports that suggested she encountered the casting couch and was subjected to harassment by a Telugu actor. Taking to Twitter, she expressed her dismay and clarified that she had never made the statements attributed to her in the reports.

In response to one such article, Hansika tweeted, "Have not given this quote ever! Stop printing rubbish." She urged the media to fact-check quotes before publishing them and cautioned against blindly picking up random news pieces.

Publications urging you to cross check before picking up random news piece ! Never made this comment that's doing the rounds pls fact check before publishing blindly .

The reports in question originated from a Gulte article, which claimed that Hansika had opened up about her experiences with the casting couch and the challenges she faced in the early stages of her career in Tollywood. However, the article did not provide specific details about the interview or the incidents mentioned. While the report did not disclose the name, it alluded to a young hero from Tollywood who repeatedly asked her out on dates, to which she reportedly responded assertively.

Coming to the professional front, the 31-year-old actress was last seen in Maha, which was released on July 22 last year. Besides the film, she also treated fans with a 6-episode series, giving a peek into her wedding with Sohail Khaturiya.

Speaking of her upcoming projects, Motwani recently wrapped up the shooting for the final schedule of director Igore's Tamil film titled Man in Chennai. The film is touted to be a thriller that delves into the prevalent issue of violence against women and the challenges they face.
